City of Fayetteville to offer support for local small businesses post pandemic

The City of Fayetteville is offering small business grants for businesses that need support following the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses that are selected can use the funds to offset any financial hardships or to improve storefronts.

In total, the Small Business Relief Grant Program has $3,000,000 dollars and can reward individual small for-profit businesses with less than 200 employees up to $50,000 dollars. The funding for the program is made available by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and will be administered by the City of Fayetteville.

The Small Business Relief Grant Program consists of a Small Business Development and Retention Grant focusing on the impact of COVID-19 and a Commercial Corridor Improvement Grant focused on improving storefronts in disproportionately impacted areas.
