From July 22 to July 24, North Carolina USA Boxing will return to Fayetteville for the 2022 Christy Martin Title Boxing Tournament.

All USA registered boxers are invited to participate in the three-day event at the Freedom Courts Sportsplex.

“Bringing Christy Martin’s Title Boxing Invitational, one of the biggest tournaments on the East Coast, back to the Fayetteville area was a no-brainer,” said Mark Hornsby, N.C. Vice President, USA Boxing. “We look forward to showcasing some of the best male and female boxing talent from across the world during this three-day event. As the person who put female boxing on the map, Christy is thrilled to be in attendance to share encouragement for the talented athletes participating.”

The annual tournament is held in honor of World Champion Boxer Christy Salters-Martin. Salters-Martin is known for helping legitimize women in boxing.

“We are honored to host this event here in Cumberland County,” said Amy Karpinski, Sports Sales Manager for the Fayetteville Area Conventions & Visitors Bureau. “The Fayetteville area is a premier destination for sporting events, and we are delighted to have North Carolina USA Boxing here, bringing athletes and supporters together for such an admirable cause.”

Boxers can register to be in the tournament for $30 dollars. Admission to attend the event is $25 dollars. Check-ins and registration will be held at the start of the event on location.
