Selling to the Government for Your Small Business online series scheduled for Sept. 12 & 13

The North Carolina Community College System Small Business Center Network and the North Carolina Military Business Center are delighted to work together in hosting a webinar titled “Selling to the Government for Your Small Business.” This virtual event will be split into two-parts with a different focus during each session. 

Part one will be held Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Attendees can expect an introduction to doing business with the federal government and information regarding a variety of relevant topics such as the following: 

Part two will be held Sept. 13 from 9 a.m. to 12:45p.m. It will focus on real-world tips, tricks, tools, and lessons learned on how to effectively market a business to federal customers. They will also cover techniques to market a business to federal prime contractors.

Part two will also discuss the steps to take as you go through the administrative process to determine if the General Services Administration is a good fit for your business and to provide a competitive advantage once you get on schedule.

North Carolina Military Business Center Director of Operations Courtney Smedick shared that “Businesses who are interested in pursuing the federal government marketplace, expanding their federal market portfolio or would like a refresher should attend this two-part series.”
