Fayetteville Veteran releases second book

Mike Lerario’s second book, Management in Balance, launched Nov. 15 on Amazon.com. Mike is a 23 year Army Veteran who chose to make his home in Fayetteville after retirement in 2006. His first book Leadership in Balance was published in 2016 and is an Amazon.com international bestseller.

In his new book, Mike offers strategies, solutions and guidance to navigate management successfully. A local book launch with the author is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 18 at Leclairs General Store, 1212 Fort Bragg Road from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mike Lerario is President and Principal Consultant for Crispian Consulting Inc., a firm that provides specialized training and coaching in Leadership Development and organizational effectiveness. Additionally, Mike serves as a subject matter expert on numerous research projects for the Army and the Department of Defense. Mike served 23 years as an Infantry Officer in Airborne Ranger assignments and retired a Lieutenant Colonel in 2006 after serving with the Joint Special Operations Command. Mike's Army career includes command assignments through battalion level and staff assignments as operations officer at battalion, brigade, and joint staff levels. He has multiple combat tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering—with a concentration in Military History—and a Master of Art in Leadership Development, both degrees from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.
