ARRAY Annual Holiday Bazaar returns to Fayetteville during Black Friday

ARRAY’s Annual Holiday Bazaar is returning to Fayetteville and is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 25 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Rainbow Room on Hay Street.

The Holiday Bazaar features local vendors offering products ranging from jewelry to dog treats. 
Food vendors, Nonprofits and all small businesses are welcome to apply to purchase a table. Additionally, vendors are each given a ⅙ page ad in ARRAY’s magazine for the month of December. Johnson said they’re still hoping to recruit some clothing vendors for the event.

The deadline for vendors to apply has been extended until the day before the event. There are six spots left to fill. The fee for one vendor table is $145. This event is indoors which eliminates worries about the weather.

Tonette Johnson, the new creative director of the event, is eager to help small businesses reach a large number of people. The Holiday Bazaar takes place in the middle of downtown holiday celebrations which will be host to two events for guests: “A Dickens Holiday”, hosted by The Downtown Alliance of Fayetteville and a new celebration, "Holidays on Hay: A Season of Light" hosted by the Arts Council of Fayetteville-Cumberland County.

“Array's been in business for over 10 years we're a woman owned publication and we have a Latino publication, but I just love how many people we reach… downtown is growing and it's beautiful…it's like oh, let's go downtown. Oh, come on, come visit me. We'll go downtown. And so just having something–being able to be a part of that and just do it in a very new way to re-energize it means a lot to me,” shared Johnson.

Last year, over 1000 potential customers took some time to peruse the variety of goods for sale.
