DistiNCtly Fayetteville’s Isaiah Griffin named as a “Meeting Professional to Watch”

DistiNCtly Fayetteville’s Isaiah Griffin has been recognized as a 2022 Meeting Professionals to Watch by ConventionSouth, the only monthly magazine dedicated exclusively to meetings in the southern United States.

Griffin is one of 22 individuals that were nominated by their peers and recognized for their recent accomplishments and involvement in the meetings industry. The full list is composed of those from multiple industry sectors described by the publication as “creative, innovative, resilient, and dedicated.”

“This recognition was definitely a surprise but it just goes to show you that you never know who is watching and paying attention as you navigate the world,” said Griffin. “This recognition means a lot to me! Other than my schooling, I have exactly one year of experience in this role and I have been learning as I go along so for my peers, colleagues, and clients to recognize me as a Meeting Professional to Watch in 2023 is very exciting!”
Griffin, a Fayetteville transplant originally from Cincinnati Ohio, joined the DistiNCtly Fayetteville (Formerly the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau) in 2021 as a sales coordinator. Now, Griffin serves as Convention Sales Manager as said he looks forward to helping make Fayetteville the go to city in the North Carolina for meetings, conventions, and sporting events.
