For one of the first holidays after COVID restrictions loosened, Americans nationwide are excited to emerge from their homes to celebrate. In the Fayetteville MSA, citizens can find a variety of festivities hosted at local venues and sponsored by the business community. Here are just a few events happening this weekend to help you build your Independence Day itinerary.
Fort Bragg 4th of July Celebration
The popular 4th of July Celebration at Fort Bragg is back this year, sponsored by USAA, Cumulus, Veterans United Home Loans, Healy, BF Goodrich Michelin and Homespire Mortgage.
The opening act for the evening is The Fifth and the headliner is Foreigner. 82nd All-American Rock Band will also perform, and the event will feature a flag ceremony, parachute demonstration and fireworks display.

Fourthfest
Pinehurst will hold Fourthfest downtown on July 3. The event features two parades: a pet parade and a traditional parade.
The fun doesn’t end there; Pinehurst Harness Track will host a concert that evening, featuring Raleigh band Night Years. There will also be fireworks and food trucks.

Independence Day Celebration
From 6:30-9:30 p.m. tonight, the National Athletic Village in Southern Pines will host their Indepenence Day Celebration, sponsored by Classical Conversations, Maison Realty Group, Maxie’s Grill & Tap Room, Bortin’s Construction Contracting LLC, First Horizon and The Forrest Firm.
Enjoy live music while picking up food at local food trucks, playing beach volleyball or cornhole, trying your hand at spear throwing, and watching fireworks at this lively event. Among the many other activities, children might enjoy the American Adventure Tour, which transports kids back to 1776 to learn about American history CLICK HERE.
King’s Grant Golf & Country Club 4th of July Golf Tournament
Competitors are bound to have a tee-rific time at this tournament! The event is open to members and non-members alike, but to compete, players must be in groups of at least three.
In Golf Pro Shop, attendees will find a “Gigantic Fireworks Sale.”
