Romeo’s Pizza franchise opening Fayetteville location

A new pizza franchise, Romeo’s Pizza will be making their debut in Fayetteville North Carolina, with their first location opening at 2800 Gillespie St. in the Airport Plaza in 2023.
Romeo’s Pizza began as a mom-and-pop shop in Medina, Ohio in 1994. After beginning to franchise in 2006, the brand is continuing to expand with locations open across multiple states including Ohio, Florida, South Carolina and Texas.
Along with providing a diverse pizza menu, Romeo’s Pizza provides a number of diet friendly crust options including a gluten free crust, low carb cauliflower crust, “THINcredicble” crust, and a deep-dish Italiano.
Owner and franchisee and Fayetteville native Chris Mclean said that the restaurant has been in the works for about a year, and he’s excited to be opening the chain’s first location in the city.
“Well, COVID kind of motivated that because I knew people were doing more of a carry out than they would a dine in and the first thing that came to my mind was pizza,” said Mclean. “But the most important reason is, this pizza is amazing. It’s a pizza that is unique to Fayetteville and the sauce is something that people get super hype about.”
The restaurant will have a soft opening on Jan. 12, 2023, and will host a grand opening for the community on Jan. 30, 2023.
