GFBJ area law enforcement leaders complete state leadership program

As 2022 came to an end, North Carolina Justice Academy took to social media to recognize law enforcement leaders who had taken the steps necessary to enter into the new year with additional credentials. 

NCJA recognized Captain Justin Guthrie with the Village of Pinehurst Police Department and Detective Brian Gerber with the Fayetteville Police Department for their successful completion of the requirements to earn their NCJA Leadership Certificate. 

The NCJA Leadership Certificate Program is designed to broaden the way leaders think and act. Participants must complete a minimum of 400-hours in leadership-related topics to receive their certificate.

Program Coordinator, Kevin Tingen, had the honor of bestowing the award on each of these leaders.

Guthrie and Gerber are expected to use their enhanced leadership skills to help guide their agencies and communities toward a better future.
