Former Fayetteville City Council member appointed to state board

Christopher G. Davis of Fayetteville will be taking his skills and experience to a board at the state level. 

Following announcements from the office of Governor Roy Cooper on Feb. 10,  Davis will be taking a new position in 2023 after being appointed to the North Carolina Board of Science, Technology, and Innovation as a member at large. Davis served on the Fayetteville City Council from 2019-2022 and chaired the City Planning Commission prior to being elected to the city council. Davis served in the US Army National Guard for more than 20 years.
