FAST to host hiring fair for bus operators on March 8

Fayetteville Area System of Transit will host a hiring fair for bus operators on Wednesday, March 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair will be held at the NCWorks Career Center located at 490 N. McPherson Church Rd.
An ideal candidate has a valid North Carolina Class B Commercial Driver’s License, six months of experience operating buses or similar equipment, a good driving record, and current
Department of Transportation Medical Card.
At this fair, job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with the FAST staff, participate in a pre-employment overview session, and on-the-spot interviews. It is recommended candidates
visit the Employment with the City of Fayetteville webpage to complete their application online prior to the fair to expedite the process. However, there will be an opportunity to apply on-site the day of the fair.

Manager Tiera Daugherty in a press release. “We partnered with NCWorks in an effort to connect with individuals in the Fayetteville area seeking new career opportunities.”
