Local networking group takes a swing at alternative events

The Fayetteville chapter of the Young Professionals Network is expanding how they bring members of the real estate industry together.

Fifteen industry professionals from the area all gathered at Axe & Armor Hatchet House in Spring Lake for their latest educational event: Axes and Taxes on Thursday Feb. 23.

Guest speaker Cindy Grose from Tax & Accounting LLC gave a small lecture covering useful information for this year’s tax season.

Correct write off practices, how to best utilize tax codes for their businesses, military housing prices and investment strategies used by military clients were some of the topics touched on.

The mini lecture was followed by a Q & A with attendees which also allowed for the realtors to share situations they've experienced and provide feedback and suggestions with one another.

After the lecture, everyone got their chance to get to throw and connect over the shared unique networking experience of axe throwing while growing their industry connections.

The Young Professionals Network is a subgroup for the National Association of Realtors and the Fayetteville chapter is sponsored by and in partnership with the Longleaf Pine REALTORS®.
