Fayetteville Technical Community College has partnered with Mercedes-Benz USA to implement the MB Campus program to develop qualified entry-level technicians for Mercedes-Benz dealer franchises.

MB Campus is integrated into the Automotive Systems Technology degree program at FTCC and allows the students to get exposure to innovative Mercedes-Benz technologies and products, develop entry-level skills toward becoming a Mercedes-Benz Registered Technician, and earn a potential internship at a Mercedes-Benz dealership.

FTCC has received a donation of curriculum materials, a Xentry diagnostics machine and a Mercedes vehicle for use in this training program.

“This partnership between our automotive department and Mercedes-Benz of Fayetteville allows students to get the training needed to start a career with the Mercedes-Benz organization.  This program also allows our students to access Mercedes-Benz training in areas such as engine management and remote diagnostics.  These select students will be well on their way to becoming a Mercedes-Benz registered technician.  This is an opportunity for these students to be part of an elite group of technicians with the expertise to work on some of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the road,” shared Brian Oldham, Department Chair.
