Western Sizzlin Steakhouse of Dunn under new ownership

Residents of Dunn and the surrounding areas gathered in front of the Western Sizzlin Steakhouse location in Dunn for a ribbon cutting ceremony ushering in a new era of ownership.

New owners Charles McLamb and Tom Marks, along with their families and hosts, the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce came together to celebrate.

Western Sizzlin Steakhouse has been serving the Dunn community since 1988. This is the second location owned by McLamb and Marks who purchased the Wilson Western Sizzlin in February of 2023 and then the Dunn location in May of 2023.

According, Kendall Wood, hospitality manager for Western Sizzlin Steakhouse of Dunn both stores are currently top in the franchise.

With the new ownership, the restaurant has begun serving U.S.D.A. Certified Angus Beef, to continue with their mission of providing great steaks to their customers.

We are the price value leader,” shared Wood.

Wood also added that the restaurant is continuously working to improve things every week as far as new menu items, new buffet items, new weekly specials and more.

The new owners received support from across the Harnett County area with the Erwin Area Chamber of Commerce also in attendance.
