The Fayetteville Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) is excited to announce a new partnership between Fayetteville-based Wahconah Group Tactical Services Division and Hagor Industries Ltd., a prominent Israeli manufacturer of tactical and outdoor textiles. The companies will jointly manufacture and market Hagor's products in the United States through this collaboration.
The Wahconah Group, a privately held corporation, specializes in manufacturing, innovation, and marketing services to commercial and government sectors. The Vice President of Hagor Industries, Dima Feldgendler, shared in a press release, “This partnership between Wahconah and Hagor will thrive, especially given the experience of both companies. The combination of Hagor's global product experience and technology with Wahconah's local market expertise is a win-win for our respective companies and the community at large.”
Hagor Industries, a privately owned Israeli manufacturer, is renowned for its high-quality tactical and outdoor gear. Their products range from robust load-carrying systems to armored military vests. Hagor also caters to the paramilitary and outdoors markets, manufacturing personal protective equipment, uniforms for medical teams, select camping gear and outerwear.
The Wahconah Group plans to establish a new division dedicated to producing and selling Hagor products. This division will be based in Fayetteville, NC, where Wahconah's Tactical Services Division has been operating since 2019, offering cleaning and repair services for uniforms and select equipment used by Special Forces in the Army, Marines, and Navy Seals. The synergy between the products repaired and restored by Wahconah's Tactical Services Division and Hagor Industries' offerings served as the foundation for this strategic relationship.
When asked about this new partnership, Isaac Crawford, Wahconah Group CEO said in a press release, “We are excited to embark on the next chapter of growth and success as we work with Hagor Industries. I look forward to working with our incredible team which includes the support and assistance of Fayetteville Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC), the Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC), and NC State Industry Expansion Solutions.”
“Attracting innovative international companies to Fayetteville and Cumberland County is a strategic focus for our organization,” said FCEDC President & CEO Robert Van Geons in a press release. “We look to replicate this model moving forward. We are excited about this partnership between Hagor Industries and the Wahconah Group and grateful for the good work done by Rob Patton, FCEDC Executive Vice President, who brought these two companies together.”
Initially, the Wahconah Group will use its existing facilities to manufacture select Hagor products and act as an authorized reseller of Hagor's commercial line. Hagor will contribute research, design, and development services for specific projects. Over the next three years, the companies expect to create at least 100 new job opportunities while substantially investing in new equipment and machinery.
