Pinehurst Police Lieutenant graduates from Management Program

Pinehurst Police Chief Glen Webb is proud to announce that Lieutenant Jason Caulder has graduated as a member of the 96th Session of the Administrative Officers Management Program (AOMP).

The graduation took place on July 20th, at the North Carolina State University McKimmon Conference and Training Center. Caulder joined 24 other graduates from state, county, and municipal agencies.

AOMP is a unique educational program for public safety professionals seeking career advancement. Three times a year (Spring, Summer and Fall), a class of 25 participants lives in residence at the NC State Highway Patrol Training Academy in Raleigh, NC, for an intensive 12-week academic program. AOMP is a partnership that brings together the theoretical perspective of the faculty and the practical experience of police officers in an effort to produce the effective and efficient public management techniques required in these increasingly complex times.

Caulder began his career as a police officer with the town of Southern Pines (SPPD) in 2008. He worked in various roles within SPPD including a K-9 officer. In 2016, Caulder accepted a sergeant’s position with the Pinehurst Police Department (PPD). In 2020, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Caulder has served in various roles within PPD, including a specialized instructor in areas of electronic control weapon, subject control and arrest techniques, firearms, and physical fitness. In 2022, Caulder completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

“We are very proud of Jason and what he has accomplished,” said Chief Webb (89th Session Graduate) in a press release “He brought the same hard work and dedication to this program that we see in his everyday service to the Village of Pinehurst.”
