DICK’S House of Sport Grand Opening Weekend in Fayetteville

DICK'S Sporting Goods’ new House of Sport in Fayetteville is celebrating its grand opening all weekend. From July 29-30. This is the fourth House of Sport location to open in the country. 

House of Sport is an experiential store that will feel familiar to people who love DICK’S Sporting Goods. With community at the heart of what they do, this grand opening event is a glimpse into the interaction one can expect from the newly opened business. 

Events began Friday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony and mystery gift card giveaways. The store is open until 9 p.m.  and will host their first athlete appearance  from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with Coach and Former Guard Kara Lawson.

Here’s the lineup of events for the following two days:

Saturday, July 29

8:00 a.m. – Mystery Gift Card and Appearance Wristband Distribution Begins 

9:00 a.m. – Store Opens • Mystery Gift Card Distribution • House of Sport Games • Sweepstakes 

12:00 p.m. - 1:30 pm – Armando Bacot, North Carolina Forward 

3:00 p.m. – 4:30pm – Alonzo Mourning, Former Center

9:00 p.m. – Store Closes

Sunday, July 30 

9:00 a.m. – Mystery Gift Card and Appearance Wristband Distribution Begins 

10:00 a.m. – Store Opens • Mystery Gift Card Distribution • House of Sport Games • Sweepstakes 

12:00 – 1:30 p.m. – Thomas Davis, Former Linebacker 

7:00 p.m. – Store Closes
