Honoring those who save lives, the Greater Fayetteville Chamber will host the 2023 Annual Public Safety Valor Awards on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Manna Church at 5117 Cliffdale Road in Fayetteville.
The Public Safety Valor Awards show the community appreciation to our first responders in Fayetteville and Cumberland County. The award recipients are nominated by their Chief or agency head from a range of law enforcement, fire/rescue and emergency management agencies that serve Cumberland County.
“We believe that our first responders deserve recognition for the bravery that they demonstrate every time they put on their uniform. This is our way of giving back and recognizing the extreme efforts taken in our community to keep us safe,” said Nat Robertson, president and CEO of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber, in a press release.

To nominate someone, use this google survey. Nominees should be individuals that work for Police, Fire or EMS services within Cumberland County that you can share a first person story about their act of heroism. The deadline to submit a nomination is Aug. 15.
This event is open to the public. Tickets are $25 and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
This event is brought to the community by Fayetteville Technical Community College, Highland Construction, Manna Church, Bass Pro Air Conditioning, Holmes Security, American Uniform Sales Inc., Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union, and Stoney Point Fire District.
