New affordable housing units now available in Fayetteville, NC

New, affordable housing units are now available to the people of Fayetteville as The Landing at Beaver Creek, a 72-unit new construction apartment home community developed in Fayetteville, North Carolina and located at 6115 Cliffdale Rd, celebrated the complex’s grand opening on July 31 with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The community consists of one, two, and three-bedroom units and features a clubhouse building with a multi-purpose room and a kitchenette area for resident meetings and activities, along with a computer lab for residents. A laundry area and covered mailbox facilities is also located at the clubhouse building. Outdoor amenities include a covered patio with seating, a covered picnic pavilion and a grill area, a playground and a tot lot.

Announced in 2021 by Trinity Housing Development, the company worked with a North Carolina GC, to construct the development along with their entire North Carolina based development team.

Trinity Housing Development also received a 9 percent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) award from the NC Housing Finance Agency to help make the project a reality, making The Landing at Beaver Creek THD’s first LIHTC development in North Carolina.

The design includes three (3) buildings, which are three-story, garden-style apartments. The unit mix is proposed as (12) one-bedroom units, (36) two-bedroom units, and (24) three-bedroom units. The unit sizes will be 691 sq ft for a one-bedroom, 1,019 sq ft for a two-bedroom and 1,112 sq ft for a three-bedroom. Each unit will feature a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, washer and dryer hook-ups, durable flooring throughout, and the kitchens will have ample cabinet and counter space along with Energy Star appliances. First floor units will have a patio off the living room area and the second and third floor units will feature a balcony. The development provides much needed “high-quality”, affordable housing in Fayetteville as it continues to see growth. The site is within 1 mile of many services and amenities as well as is close to many employment opportunities.
