New life for Niko’s location

The Niko's sinage has been removed from the building located at 3612 Ramsey St.

When one restaurant closes, another opens.

A new restaurant is already preparing to take over the building which formerly housed Niko's Fresh Eats, a restaurant which featured seafood entrées and Greek and American sandwiches.

The Niko's team made an official announcement on their Facebook page announcing they would be closing officially on Aug. 4.

Their post reads in part:

"We thank you for your continued support over the years. The customers that stuck it out with us through our ups and downs followed us from Ramsey to Reilly rd. We built some amazing relationships that we will never forget."

"...We love you all and again thank you for the opportunity to have served you all."

Now work has already begun on the building to welcome new tenants.

The Niko's sign has officially been removed from the building located at 3612 Ramsey St and a new Mediterranean and American restaurant is reportedly in the works.

According to a Facebook post made by restaurant affiliate Sabir Gasmi, Wingyro’s American and Mediterranean Grill is currently in preparations to take over the space.

“We are excited to be opening soon! American and Mediterranean Grill with something for everyone. Come taste Mediterranean and American food at its finest! We are located [at] 3612 Ramsey st Fayetteville,” said Gasmi in his post.

No announcement has been made yet for an official grand opening date.
