Simple Twist open for business in Dunn

Simple Twist, a cafe serving made from scratch meals owned by Colleen Roby, has just opened a new location in Dunn, North Carolina.

Roby shared some background on the business and what it brings to customers.

“The original one opened in 2014, and we kind of named it after Bob Dylan’s “Simple Twist of Fate.” And just kind of went with that using simple, good food and giving it a little bit of a twist. We try to do everything as locally produced as we can and keep everything fresh. We make all our dressings, sauces, everything is made from scratch, made to order,” remarked Roby.

The new location features favorites such as their Twist Burger, Wake N Bacon Burger and Hangover Fries as well as plenty of other popular dishes.

“...It's exciting, and everybody's been very welcoming,” stated Roby about the community’s response. “And people are stopping me in the grocery store, like, ‘Oh, are you open? Are you open?’”

Roby shared that they are still looking for additional employees for the new location and interested individuals are encouraged to apply.

The new store is located at 1125 East Cumberland St. and is open Monday - Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
