The Salad Box & Some new location opens this Friday

The Salad Box & Some has relocated to 132 Person St. and is prepared to serve more customers with more menu options.

The Salad Box will open its doors to the public on Friday, Nov. 3. The restaurant hopes to gain feedback from customers and to work out any kinks that accompany a transition such as this before they consider hosting a grand opening in a few weeks. 

Co-owner Tonya McNeill shared that they’ve expanded their menu to include items such as loaded baked potatoes, loaded sweet potatoes, a “panwich” which is a breakfast sandwich that uses pancakes as the bun, cereal bowls, omelets and more. 

The business’s new and expanded menu options including brunch items will be available to guests all day. Salad Box & Some will be open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. McNeill shared that they are still looking for some additional staff, particularly a cook and a prep cook. Anyone interested in applying for the job can go into the restaurant and get an onsite interview.

“I’m excited about the location itself, how busy it will get…I’ve also banded together with a new partner, his name is Robb Barber. I’m excited about the partnership and things like that…and even the staff, we have a new staff that are just excited to bring what we’re offering to the public. They're very excited; they can’t wait for the doors to open,” remarked McNeill.
