Greater Fayetteville Chamber welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors

The Greater Fayetteville Chamber recently welcomed three distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors. The newest board members are: 

Mr. Timothy L. Bryant – CEO, Public Works Commission; With over 25 years of experience in the utilities industry, Tim is a professional engineer and a graduate of NC State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Baker University. He is a former commissioned officer in the U.S. Army National Guard. 

Ms. Lynnie Guzman – Director of Sales & Marketing, Holmes Security Systems; Lynnie has a decade of leadership experience in community news, marketing and sales.  Lynnie has been active in the Greater Fayetteville Chamber as an Ambassador and has chaired the Valor Awards, recognizing the community’s First Responders. She has also completed the Chamber’s Leadership Fayetteville graduating in 2018. 

Mrs. Kristie M. Allen – Owner, Two Men and a Truck of Fayetteville & Sanford; Kristie has been active with the Chamber for many years. She is the former Secretary of the Home Builders Association, the former Chamber Liaison for the Fayetteville Young Professionals, a member of the Board for Partnership for Children and the Downtown Alliance marketing Chair. Kristie has a proven ability to work in high-stress, complex environments and brings to the Chamber a sense of understanding of the Chamber’s operations. 

“I am so delighted to extend a heartfelt welcome to our newest Board Members,” said Gary Rogers, the 2023 Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, in a press release. “All three possess unique skills that will only strengthen our Board. The Greater Fayetteville Chamber will benefit from their insights and experiences. They will fit right in, working collectively towards furthering our focus on Advocacy, Education, and Networking for our membership.” 

Rogers continued in a press release stating, “Mr. Bryant, Ms. Guzman, & Mrs. Allen are examples of the hard working, community loving individuals that make up the Chamber. They bring a fresh perspective to the Board and one that is grounded.  Each of these new Board Members has experience in operating budgets and real-world challenges. We as a Board feel fortunate they each have volunteered their insights to bettering the Greater Fayetteville Chamber.”

Through networking opportunities, advocacy and educational resources, the Chamber works to support economic development and prosperity for its members.
