FCEDC welcomes new communications specialist

The Fayetteville Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation welcomes Brittany Tschida as its Communications Specialist.

“I am thrilled to join a group of professionals who share a common goal of strengthening Fayetteville and Cumberland County’s economic environment,” said Tschida in a press release. “As a lifelong Fayetteville resident, I have witnessed tremendous community progress. I look forward to sharing our stories of expansion and growth.”

Tschida graduated from Chowan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management and a concentration in Business Administration. She has spent the last five years with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, most recently serving as the Manager of Sponsorships.

“Brittany’s relationships with business partners in our community and ‘Can Do’ outlook will be a great asset to our team,” said FCEDC President and CEO Robert Van Geons in a press release. “We look forward to seeing the contributions she’ll make as part of the dedicated staff here at FCEDC.”
