New eateries open inside Cross Creek Mall

It’s been a busy holiday season for Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville. While welcoming shoppers in December for the Christmas rush, the shopping hub also welcomed new restaurants which opened just in time for the new year.

SimLo's Jerk Hut is now open inside Cross Creek Mall. 
The newest restaurant to come to the Cross Creek mall Food court, SimLo’s Jerk Hut opened on Dec. 19, 2023. The Jamaican restaurant has a menu featuring island favorites such as jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, stew chicken and more.

Rockin' Rolls Sushi Express, found outside in the former Newk’s Eatery location, opened its doors on Dec. 21, 2023. The restaurant line is branching out from its original home in Raleigh.

According to the Restaurant’s website: “Rockin’ Roll Sushi is a unique way to provide delicious Sushi to Sushi lovers. Fresh made sushi placed on a conveyor belt pass your table. Simply grab what you like and enjoy the great taste. We proudly offer fresh sushi with NO MSG, NO artificial coloring, and NO chemical food preservatives.”

This is their second location with the only other located at 9650 Strickland Road in Raleigh.
