Marcus & Millichap brokers sale of Millstone Towne Center

Marcus & Millichap, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, recently announced the sale of Millstone Towne Center, a 40,000-square-foot shopping center located in Hope Mills, North Carolina. The property sold for an undisclosed price.
Donald Gilchrist and Nathan McElroy, investment specialists in the firm’s Raleigh office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller. The buyer, a small investment fund out of North Carolina, was represented by Greg Marks of Triland Properties.
“It was a swift and efficient closing after a long negotiation period, but the owner was pleased with the sale and the representation,” said Gilchrist in a press release. “I appreciate the patience of the seller and the very efficient legal team.”
Millstone Towne Center is located at 3350-3351 South Peak Drive in Hope Mills. The property serves as the retail portion of a planned commercial development that includes residential and multifamily properties. Constructed in 2008, the center is 92 percent occupied and features both local and national tenants.
