Two respected names in real estate – Tony De La Vega and Kate Murphy have joined forces to create the new TIER One Real Estate Services team based at Coldwell Banker Advantage in Fayetteville, N.C.
The merger combines De La Vega’s TIER One and Murphy’s Legacy Realty Group, with $30 million and $10 million in 2023 production, respectively, earning them a spot in the top 1 percent of agents market-wide.
“Kate and I have decided that we are both heading in the same direction with shared goals, values and vision,” said De La Vega in a press release. “After a few conversations, it became evident that we would be better together.”
De La Vega and Murphy decided to keep the Tier One name with the tagline: A Legacy In the Making.
“It’s important to show our clients the value is not just in the present, but how they can make wise investments and create success for the future,” said Murphy in a press release.
Both De La Vega and Murphy served with distinction in the U.S. Army before launching successful real estate careers built on integrity, dedication, excellent communications and care for their clients.
Their new team of agents has more than 30 years of combined experience guiding a full range of home buyers, sellers and investors, both military-affiliated and civilian, in the counties surrounding Fort Liberty (formerly Bragg).
Among their specialties is new construction, including Collier Gate Estates in North Fayetteville close to Linden. TIER One represents three local home builders in the riverfront community: A&G Residential, Ben Stout Construction and JSJ Builders.
As the metro area grows, along with the demand for quality housing, TIER One looks to expand its team with agents who share their values, work ethic and high standards, according to De La Vega and Murphy.
“Both of us have chosen to make our own home in this community and we are committed to giving back,” said De La Vega, who serves on the Boards of Directors for the Military Affairs Council and the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation.
De La Vega and Murphy are both involved with supporting Falcon Children’s Home and regional festivals. In addition, Murphy has volunteered for Gate Beautiful, an organization that works against local human trafficking.
An accomplished vocalist, Murphy also serves on the worship team of Manna Church.
Tony and Karen De La Vega are active members of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church and serve on the Military Ministry.
