US Foods CHEF’STORE welcomes local businesses with Business Preview Day; Grand opening events planned for community

US Foods targeted local businesses to invite them to a special shopping opportunity for the first time in the new store.

Fayetteville's US Foods CHEF’STORE® location is now open to the public at 511 Cross Creek Mall.

Following a ribbon cutting with local business and City of Fayetteville representatives, the storefront welcomed in local business owners for a Business Preview Day on Thursday, Jan 18, giving them first look and a chance to browse through and sample products.

Boasting over 20,000 square feet, including two shop through freezer areas, this marks the fourth location in North Carolina.

Now fully open to both members and the general public the warehouse formatted store specializes in providing frozen and fresh food products, restaurant equipment, catering essentials, janitorial supplies and other essentials in bulk for restaurants, food trucks and other food based vendors.

While this is the first planned event for the storefront, the warehouse will be open its regular hours on Friday, Jan. 19 and a full grand opening celebration is planned for Saturday, Jan. 20 to welcome in the community.

Guests had the chance to sample products while they shopped at a number of sample outposts throughout the store.

CHEF’STORE’s Grand Opening Event will take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and will include food sampling and demos, free hot dogs, soda, and chips, a $100 gift card raffle every hour and an entrance giveaway to hand out free gifts and swag!

CHEF’STORE is open to the public seven days a week and no membership is required.

Regular hours of operation include 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
