The Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce announces White Lake Water Festival coordinator

The Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce has officially hired this year’s White Lake Water Festival Coordinator Jeané Pope.  Jeané resides at White Lake. Mrs. Pope comes to the Chamber with experience handling festivals like the Denim Days Festival as well as working with the Cotton Festival.  Additionally she has worked to develop a Spring Fling.  She has served on the Erwin and Dunn Chambers serving as Vice President and Treasurer, as well as Events Coordinator.

Adding to her past community experience, Jeané is a retired educator and former principal of 18 years.  She has also served in many facets within the state , district, and club level of the General Federation of Woman’s Club. She has also chaired state and local art festivals in Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Winston Salem and Dunn.
