Sondheim's beloved classic “Assassins” comes to the Gilbert Theater

This March, the Gilbert Theater brings to life several of the more notorious figures of our nation's history in the beloved Sondheim classic, “Assassins.”

These people, whether they failed or succeeded, changed the world. Come experience this unique tour through the darker corners of our storied past. Feel the angst, the outrage, the disillusionment on stage in this scathing indictment of the American dream.

Plot: A journey through the dark side of the American dream, Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Tony-winning musical Assassins explores the lives of nine men and women who either killed (or tried to kill) one of the Presidents of the United States.

Directed by Marie Swartwood Lowe, this darkly entertaining musical “hits the mark” with the help of a remarkably talented cast and crew.

This production will run March 8th-24th, with 8 p.m. performances on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday. The Gilbert Theater is located at 116 Green Street, 2nd Floor, Fayetteville, N.C. 28301.

The ticket price for this play is $20, with discounts for students, military, seniors, and special group rates.
