Hope Mills Area Chamber prepares for 2024 Women Mean Business Brunch

Planning has begun for the Hope Mills Area Chamber of Commerce (HMACC) as they prepare for their third annual Women Mean Business Brunch scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 21 at Gates Four Golf & Country Club.

The Women Mean Business Brunch is dedicated to bringing together female entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals for a morning filled with humor, networking, motivation and business opportunities!

Now more than ever women are taking charge in the workforce and they are redesigning how we think about business and innovation. The HMACC executive board is 75 percent female!

Join the HMACC board as they start off with some WMB themed ' Never Have I Ever" ice breaker and networking!

The Keynote Speaker for the event will be Stacey Buckner - a dedicated individual with a passion for service. At 45, Stacey has devoted nine years to making a difference for Veterans at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. Her outstanding commitment to volunteerism earned her the 2022 NC Governor’s Medallion Award, recognizing her exceptional contributions to the community.

In 2023, Stacey's impact was recognized on a global scale when she was honored as a CNN Hero, showcasing her selflessness and commitment to positive change. Locally, she received the 2023 City View Power of Giving Award, highlighting her work with homeless Veterans in the community.

Stacey's profound dedication to supporting veterans led her to establish Off-Road Outreach, a non-profit veteran service organization. As the Founder and Executive Director, she continues to exemplify leadership and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touches.

What kind of a women’s event would it be without some amazing Giveaways and Raffles? And what does every power woman need but a bag to keep it all together? (Think Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade!)
