FAST hosts hiring fair Feb. 20; $1,000 sign on bonus for CDL Drivers

Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) is hosting a hiring fair on Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the FAST Transit Center, 505 Franklin St.  

Candidates can apply on site and do on-the-spot interviews with members of FAST. Staff members will be available to answer questions about job duties and responsibilities. This opportunity streamlines the hiring process because qualified applicants can complete an online job application, department orientation and interview all in one day. 

FAST is currently hiring for Transit Operators (CDL Drivers). FAST offers competitive pay, paid holidays, benefits, 401k, overtime opportunities and a $1,000 sign on bonus to candidates who are hired for the Transit Operator II position who have a Commercial Driver’s Licenses and air brakes and passenger endorsements. 

FAST encourages those interested to apply online at FayettevilleNC.gov/Jobs  before attending the hiring fair; however, it is not required.
