Small residential development to be built in Autryville

By Jenna Shackelford, posted Aug 24, 2021 on BizFayetteville.com

Construction of new homes will begin soon in Sampson county.

Inside of Autryville’s city limits, Ben Stout Construction will soon begin to build spec houses, which are essentially move-in-ready homes.

The date to begin construction is up in the air currently, but the permit process is underway. “As soon as permits are issued, we will begin,” said Christina Kenon,  director of operations at Ben Stout Construction.

There will be seven homes constructed in total, with each one being around 2200 square feet.

With supply chain shortages, homebuilders everywhere have less predictable timelines than in the past for construction projects.

That said, the company expects that the homes will be finished sometime next year.
