Metronet offers new security feature

Metronet recently announced that new Metronet customers are eligible to upgrade to eero Plus. eero Plus is a digital security subscription for a better internet experience when paired with Metronet-supported eero device. Features include advanced security protection, advanced parental controls, content filters, ad blocking, Internet Backup, VPN, a password manager, internet activity insights, Wi-Fi radio metrics and remote online network control, creating a more secure internet experience.

Advanced security capability with eero Plus is available to verifiable new Metronet customers who signed up on or after March 4, 2024, with Metronet’s offer for eero devices.

We’re excited to now offer advanced digital security through eero Plus to help keep your internet connection safe,” said Willy Pirtle, Metronet Executive Vice President – Residential Markets, in a press release. “We are committed to providing our customers with a secure, ultra-high-speed connection through the most advanced technology on the market. We are proud to take our network to the next level by pairing eero Plus with 100% fiber optic internet to provide a safe, worry-free Wi-Fi connection.”

Metronet has installed more than 170 miles of fiber optic internet throughout Fayetteville, bringing future-proof multi-gigabit speeds to residents and businesses through their fully-funded $70 million investment in the community.
