Averitt promotes McMillan to Fayetteville service center director

Averitt Express recently promoted Dameiono McMillan to service center director for its Fayetteville facility.
McMillan has seen extraordinary career growth since he came to Averitt in 2013. He initially started as a temporary associate
at Averitt's Charlotte warehouse until moving into a part-time role. McMillan eventually went full time, then transferred to the Charlotte service center before being promoted to a frontline leader position.
In addition to his logistics career, McMillan is an active military member, having been twice deployed as a Navy Reservist during his time with Averitt.
“Dameiono is an outstanding example of how we promote from within,” said Averitt President and Chief Operating Officer Barry Blakely in a press release. “We are excited to welcome Dameiono to his new role, and we look forward to seeing him build on our core beliefs and the positive reputation we have established with our customers in Fayetteville since 1991.”
Averitt’s Fayetteville-area service center is located at 2778 Aviation Parkway.
