Cape Fear Valley Health’s Junior Volunteer program is now accepting applications. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older by June 1, 2024, and be enrolled in high school or homeschooled in a high school grade curriculum. Applications are due by Friday, April 19.
“The Junior Volunteer Program at Cape Fear Valley Health is a phenomenal opportunity for students who want to serve their community and learn while doing so!” said Director of Volunteer Services Pat Beasley in a press release. “This program allows students to earn volunteer hours in a fun and engaging environment while becoming acquainted with the inner workings of a healthcare organization. Students who are interested in healthcare, or just want to give back to their community in a meaningful and fulfilling way should apply.”
This summer’s Junior Volunteer program will consist of three tracks:
Track 1, June 10-21
Track 2, July 29-Aug. 9
Track 3, Aug. 12-23
Students can attend multiple tracks as space allows.
