DistiNCtly Fayetteville is now seeking first hand opinions and perspectives from county residents about the area.
The Destination Opinion Survey is now open to the public to give their honest feedback through 18 ranked, multiple choice and write in questions.
The questionnaire touches on tourism, public perception of Fayetteville and Cumberland County as a place to work, own or do business and as a place to live.
“We want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly and get an insight into all of those aspects that are going well for us that we want to continue to emphasize and continue to focus on. And then also, learn about those areas that are not so great that maybe we need to focus on as a community,” said DistiNCtly Fayetteville President and CEO Devin Heath.
While some basic demographic questions are asked such as age, race and zip code, the data is collected anonymously and will be used to help shape future initiatives and help DistiNCtly Fayetteville identify areas that could use greater focus.
Those initiatives include a future Destination Strategic Plan and building a local marketing campaign.
“We want to understand our residents and the things that our residents are passionate about, as well as what are those aspects of this community that they may not be as passionate about, that we might be able to look into a little further and hopefully help do our part to maybe help improve it,” said Heath.
The survey will be available for the next five weeks and is free to take.
