The Hope Mills Chamber of Commerce (HMCC) is excited to unveil a multi-faceted transformation, marking a dynamic new chapter for the organization. The HMCC has refreshed its brand identity, becoming simply the Hope Mills Chamber of Commerce, to better reflect its unwavering commitment to serving the entire Hope Mills area.
Leading the charge is a dedicated new board of directors. At the helm is President Lake Wood, a seasoned marketing professional and owner of national marketing firm LWood Solutions. The board is further bolstered by Eva Soerens (Soe Valiant Solutions) as Treasurer and Rebecca Gibbs (Rebecca Gibbs Insurance) as Secretary. Shamblica Elliot of United Bank joins the board, bringing valuable financial expertise, and Joanne Scarola from the Town of Hope Mills serves as Ex-Officio Board Member, ensuring strong ties between the Chamber and the Town of Hope Mills.
Guiding the Chamber's operations is Le'Keshia Glover-Drayton, the experienced Executive Director. Empowering its members is a core focus for the HMCC. Three new interest groups have been established to foster a more connected and collaborative business environment. The Women Owned Business Council, Small Business Council, and Young Professionals Network will provide targeted support and resources, addressing the specific needs of these distinct business communities.
Looking beyond its membership, the HMCC is also investing in the future of the Hope Mills area. Dedicated funds for Tourism, Economic Development, and Consumer Relations will provide crucial support for initiatives that propel the area's growth as a destination and thriving business hub. These strategic investments aim to attract visitors, cultivate a robust business landscape, and foster a vibrant consumer experience within the Hope Mills area.
Businesses and individuals are invited to join the HMCC's dynamic network and be part of this exciting new chapter. Visit HopeMillsChamber.org for details and membership options (individual, sole proprietor/small business, various business tiers, and non-profit). Membership starts at an affordable $75 annually.
The Hope Mills Chamber of Commerce is ready to move forward with the community, fostering growth and prosperity for all. Together, let's build a brighter future for the Hope Mills area!
