ServiceSource North Carolina is now Employment Source, a ServiceSource Affiliate

ServiceSource North Carolina, a leader in providing vocational training and employment programs for adults and students with disabilities, announced today that the organization has changed its name to Employment Source. The nonprofit will maintain its affiliation with ServiceSource, headquartered in Oakton, Virginia.
Employment Source, A ServiceSource Affiliate, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides innovative and valuable employment, training, rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with disabilities. In 2001, Employment Source affiliated with ServiceSource, joining a network of top-tier nonprofit agencies working to build more inclusive communities for individuals with disabilities nationwide. Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Employment Source serves thousands of veterans and people with disabilities each year.
“Many of our programs, such as Warrior Bridge, Friendship House, and Works for Me – which helps students develop work readiness skills and explore future career pathways – have long been fixtures in the Fayetteville community,” said Executive Director Jason Amorose in a press release. “With this change, we are simply uniting our vocational and social services, jobs, and other supports for students, adults, and veterans with disabilities under a single name. We expect this move to strengthen bonds with our many partners in Fayetteville and throughout North Carolina.”
ServiceSource is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to build more inclusive communities by facilitating services, resources, and partnerships that support people with disabilities, along with their families, caregivers, and community members. ServiceSource and its affiliated organizations provide programs and services in more than a dozen states and the District of Columbia.
“Affiliation with ServiceSource provides efficiencies in administrative functions while freeing Employment Source staff to concentrate on their core mission, producing better outcomes for the community,” explained ServiceSource President and CEO Bruce Patterson in a press release. “There is no impact on the programs and services that individuals in North Carolina depend on to meet their needs. It’s a true win-win for Employment Source and the people it serves.”
In addition to Employment Source, ServiceSource has affiliates in Delaware, Florida, Utah, and Charlottesville, Virginia.
