Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) to host hiring fair on July 16

The Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) will host a hiring fair on July 16 at 505 Franklin Street in Fayetteville for both full- and part-time Transit Operator II positions.

These positions require a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and no air brake restrictions. The hiring fair will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.   

FAST employs 60 Commercial Driver Licensed operators and 17 non-CDL operators who provide service to more than 6,000 daily customers, getting them access to jobs, medical facilities, shopping and recreation opportunities.  

FAST provides nearly 1.6 million trips annually to customers by operating 30 buses on 19 routes and 21 FASTTrac! vehicles that offer paratransit service.
