Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity (FAHFH) is excited to announce the upcoming Trade Days of Summer Construction Camp, a unique opportunity for Cumberland County high school students and recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in the skilled construction trades.
The construction camp will take place from July 23- 26, 2024, running daily from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
This hands-on camp is designed to equip students with practical familiarization skills in electrical work, plumbing, drywall, and general construction. Instruction will be provided by Habitat’s own Construction Supervisors as well as community business partners committed to “building the future with the future.”
This initiative aims to inspire and prepare the next generation of tradespeople, fostering valuable career skills and creating pathways to employment in the construction industry. The Construction Camp not only supports individual growth but also addresses the broader need for skilled tradespeople in our community.
