The Alumni Association at RCC raised $346.50 during “Spirit Night” at Zaxby’s this past May.
“We had a great time during Zaxby’s Spirit Night,” stated Stephanie McNeill, the alumni association’s vice president in a press release. “We were able to raise money, meet fellow Alumni from Robeson Community College, all while enjoying a great meal.”
The check was presented to the RCC Alumni Association by restaurant marketing manager, Hector Perez.
“The management at Zaxby’s were very excited about us coming, and more than happy to assist RCC in raising money for its alumni association… and they were so very kind,” McNeill said in a press release. “Two regional managers came down for the event and stayed to work the fundraiser alongside with us, it was a very nice gesture.”
The money raised will go back into the RCC Alumni Association, which may be used for a variety of projects or funding future events.
