Sandhills Community College (SCC) is proud to announce the establishment of its new Workforce Development & Corporate Partnerships Division, aimed at bridging education with industry, enhancing workforce readiness and fostering robust corporate collaborations. This strategic initiative will be led by Dr. Fallon McIver Brewington as Vice President and Taylor McCaskill as Senior Director of Workforce Strategy & Partnership Innovation.
“Sandhills Community College is dedicated to providing top-notch educational opportunities for everyone we serve,” Dr. Sandy Stewart, President of SCC, said in a press release. “This new Workforce Development & Corporate Partnerships Division will help our students achieve their goals through strengthened industry ties and enhanced student experiences.”
Through innovative workforce strategies and collaboration with corporate partners, this new division will foster robust partnerships to provide the community and SCC students with practical, hands-on experiences and career services that enhance their employability and professional growth. Through this program, SCC hopes to empower the community and students by bridging skills, interests, and academic achievements with real-world career opportunities.

The division will work closely with various departments within the College, local businesses, and industry leaders to ensure that students receive education and training that is directly applicable to their future careers in Moore and Hoke Counties.
