Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity (FAHFH) invites the public to celebrate the graduation of our Trade Days Construction Camp on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 3 p.m. at 658 Southern Avenue in Fayetteville.

Students have spent the past four days learning essential trade skills such as drywall, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction. Join FAHFH to honor their hard work and dedication.

The Trade Days of Summer Construction Camp is a unique opportunity for Cumberland County high school students and recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in the skilled construction trades. The construction camp took place from July 23-26, 2024,  and ran daily from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m..

This hands-on camp is designed to equip students with practical familiarization skills in electrical work, plumbing, drywall, and general construction. Instruction will be provided by Habitat's own Construction Supervisors as well as community business partners committed to "building the future with the future." This initiative aims to inspire and prepare the next generation of tradespeople, fostering valuable career skills and creating pathways to employment in the construction industry. The Construction Camp not only supports individual growth but also addresses the broader need for skilled tradespeople in our community.
