Greater Fayetteville Chamber celebrates successful Career and Resource Expo

The Greater Fayetteville Chamber (GFC) is proud to announce the resounding success of the Career and Resource Expo held at the Crown Expo on July 19, 2024. This highly anticipated event brought together a diverse array of businesses and enthusiastic job seekers, creating a vibrant atmosphere of opportunity and networking.

With 47 businesses participating and actively recruiting employees, attendees had access to a wide range of employment opportunities spanning various member industries. These businesses were eager to connect with potential candidates, offering positions that catered to different skill sets and career aspirations, from entry level to the highly technical.

 

The turnout was exceptional, with 511 candidates attending the event. This impressive number highlights the strong desire within our community to seek out new career paths and professional growth. Job seekers were able to engage directly with employers, gaining valuable insights into available positions and the requirements needed to succeed.

"We are thrilled with the success of this year's Career and Resource Expo," said Nat Robertson, CEO of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber in a press release. "The event provided a unique platform for businesses to find talented individuals who are ready to contribute to their teams. Additionally, it offered job seekers a chance to explore new opportunities and make meaningful connections. The positive feedback we have received from both employers and candidates is truly gratifying." Robertson added, “Your Chamber is already looking at making this an annual event for the benefit of our members.”
