Tulsa Leadership & Entrepreneurship Academy now accepting applications

Applications are now open for Tulsa Initiative, Inc.’s flagship program, the Tulsa Leadership & Entrepreneurship Academy (TLEA).
For the past four years, Tulsa Initiative, Inc. has been dedicated to empowering young Black,
Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) male entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary tools, resources and networks to navigate the complexities of starting and sustaining a business.
The TLEA is a comprehensive 13-week mentoring program designed for young business enthusiasts aged 18-26. Through in-person sessions in Fayetteville, NC, we focus on fostering intellectual growth in financial literacy, professional development, business acumen, identity development, and community building.
Highlights of the program include:
- Weekly courses on entrepreneurship essentials.
- One-on-one conversations with established local business owners.
- Sessions with world-renowned business leaders from companies such as Facebook and Amazon.
- Enrichment field trips to the headquarters of leading companies for exclusive discussions with key executives.
- Personal mentoring sessions with highly skilled business coaches.
- Opportunity to pitch a business or brand at Tulsa’s annual Gala, with a chance to receive funding.
- Free LLC filing sponsored by the Tulsa Initiative.
