Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity announces 2024 Veteran's Build Season of Service

Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity (FAHFH) is proud to announce our upcoming 2024 Veteran's Build season of service, dedicated to honoring and supporting local Veterans through Critical Home Repairs and community engagement. In this year’s season of service, the organization aims to complete eight to 11 Veteran repairs, including three significant Critical Repairs with the help of community volunteers.

Last year, the Veteran’s Build Season of Service saw over 1,080 hours of work completed across six days of service.

Critical repairs were done to nine Veteran owned homes thanks to more than 100 volunteers from the community including Veterans and active duty soldiers.

FAHFH’s 2024 Veteran's Build will feature several key initiatives, including christening a “Missing Man Table” and a display of a 9/11 Remembrance Day exhibit at the Habitat ReStore on 3833 Bragg Boulevard.

Volunteer event dates include:

Sept. 13-14, 2024: In honor of Patriot Day
Oct. 25-26, 2024: In honor of the National Day of the Deployed
Nov. 8-9, 2024: In honor of Veteran’s Day
