FirstHealth Fitness – Raeford announces new facility director

FirstHealth Fitness – Raeford recently announced the appointment of Tangie Harris as the new facility director.

Harris was born and raised in Raeford and has worked in the health and fitness industry for more than five years. Before taking her new role in Raeford, she served as an exercise specialist at FirstHealth Fitness in Pinehurst.

Harris has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science and a Master of Public Administration in Health Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Harris is a certified nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

“I have a deep passion for health and wellness, and I’ve always enjoyed helping others reach their goals. I am excited to be back in my hometown and pride myself on being a part of the Raeford community,” Harris said in a press release. “I always tell others that I was my first client when I was 20 years old. I began my fitness journey in college and have been lucky to help others transform their health.”
