FAST to host hiring fair Sept. 24

Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) will host a hiring fair on Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the FAST Transit Center located at 505 Franklin St.  

FAST is currently hiring for full-time and part-time transit operators II who have a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsements and no air brakes restrictions. 

Candidates can apply on site and do on-the-spot interviews with members of FAST. Staff members will be available to answer questions about job duties and responsibilities.

FAST offers competitive pay, paid holidays, benefits, 401k, and overtime opportunities.  

FAST strongly encourages those interested to apply online at FayettevilleNC.gov/Jobs before attending the hiring fair; however, it is not required. Staff will be available to assist attendees with applying for the positions online.
