In the wake of Hurricane Helene and its disastrous affects in the western regions of North Carolina, Fayetteville area businesses and nonprofits are coming together to help organize relief.

Cameron Carlotti, owner of Sol’s Arcade + Taproom is partnering with Off - Road Outreach, Axios Inspires Foundation, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers and Litchfield Realty to gather supplies and volunteers to head west to provide aid.  “Anything helps someone who’s lost everything,” said Carlotti.

These businesses will be accepting donations to send to those affected by Hurricane Helene until Friday at 5 p.m. before gathering volunteers and heading to Boone, Asheville, Tennessee and Georgia to drop off supplies and help when possible.

The following locations will be accepting donations:

Acceptable donations include:

Volunteers are asked to be ready to leave by Friday evening while also being asked to prepare themselves for service. The goal is to leave Friday evening and return on Sunday.

According to Off-Road Outreach Founder Stacey Buckner, who has already begun organizing volunteers and accepting donations, the region is without fuel and hotels, so volunteers should be ready to carpool, or be properly fueled up before departure and bring along sleeping bags, or other camping equipment.

Volunteers are asked not to bring children if possible.

To sign up to volunteer, contact:
